GIB Barrierline®

GIB Barrierline® plasterboard is used as part of the GIB® Intertenancy Barrier Systems for Terrace Homes.

 

  • GIB Barrierline® is made of a glass fibre reinforced gypsum core which is encased in a heavy duty liner
  • Modified core for additional water and mould resistance 
  • 25mm thickness (approximate mass 19.8kg/m2)
  • 3000mm long, 600mm wide
  • Square edges 

 

 

Durability during construction

GIB Barrierline® plasterboard has a water and mould resistant core. It is important, however, to remember that GIB Barrierline® plasterboard should only be handled when dry and must be kept dry after delivery and before installation. Reusable waterproof covers or premium stretch wrapping can be supplied with all deliveries of GIB® Intertenancy Barrier System components, including GIB Barrierline® plasterboard.
