Returns & Refunds

New Zealand Ceiling & Drywall Supplies Ltd (NZCDS) offers a 10 business day return policy, meaning you have 10 business days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and returned in their original packaging. Proof of purchase (such as your receipt or order confirmation) is also required.

To begin a return, please contact our team at info@nzcds.co.nz. Approved returns must be sent to either our Penrose or Christchurch branch, and we will provide instructions on how and where to send the item.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Please note that returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please check your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so our team can assess the issue and arrange a suitable resolution.


Exceptions

Certain products are not eligible for standard returns, including compounds, plasterboard, and trims, as these items are not available for direct online purchase.

If a fault occurs, these products may still be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under the manufacturer’s warranty.

Change-of-mind returns for compounds, plasterboard, and trims may be accepted at the discretion of the branch manager. Please contact your nearest NZCDS store for assistance.


Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that banks and credit card providers may take additional time to process and display the refund.
