Welcome to New Zealand Ceiling & Drywall Supplies Ltd ("NZCDS", "we", "us", or "our").

Trade Accounts

NZCDS may offer trade accounts to eligible businesses, contractors, and trade professionals.

Approval of trade accounts is at the sole discretion of NZCDS. We reserve the right to approve, decline, suspend, or cancel a trade account at any time.

When applying for a trade account, you agree that:

  • All information provided in your application is accurate and complete.

  • You are authorised to act on behalf of the business applying for the account.

  • NZCDS may verify your business details or request additional documentation as part of the approval process.

Trade account holders may receive access to trade pricing, special promotions, or other trade-related benefits, which may change or be withdrawn at any time.

Trade pricing and account access are intended solely for the approved account holder and must not be shared, transferred, or used by unauthorised parties.

NZCDS reserves the right to suspend or terminate trade accounts if we believe the account is being misused, used fraudulently, or used in breach of these Terms.

Where a trade account includes credit purchasing arrangements, additional terms and conditions will apply. Customers who apply for and are approved for a credit account must comply with the terms and conditions set out in the signed NZCDS credit account application, which form part of the agreement between the customer and NZCDS.

Section 2 – Our Products

We make every effort to display product information accurately on our website. However, product colours and appearance may vary depending on your device or display settings.

We do not guarantee that the appearance or quality of any product will exactly match what is shown on your screen.

Product descriptions, availability, and pricing may change at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities available for purchase.

Section 3 – Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from NZCDS.

We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is not confirmed until payment has been received and the order has been accepted by us.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as we may not be able to accommodate cancellations once an order has been accepted.

If we cancel or modify an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided at checkout.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

The price charged will be the price displayed at the time the order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Unless stated otherwise, prices may exclude:

Prices on our website may differ from prices offered in physical NZCDS branches.

You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information for all purchases.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that you will pay all charges incurred.

Section 5 – Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

NZCDS is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, supply disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to the customer once the products are transferred to the shipping carrier.

Section 6 – Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, designs and other materials, is owned by NZCDS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated. 

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from the Services without prior written consent from NZCDS.

All trademarks, logos, and product names displayed on the website remain the property of their respective owners.

NZCDS uses Shopify to power its online store.

All purchases made through the store are transactions directly between you and NZCDS.

Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of transactions between you and NZCDS, including product quality, delivery, or refunds.

You agree that Shopify is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from purchases made through the store.

Section 10 – Privacy

All personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, certain information may also be processed by Shopify in order to provide and improve the Services.

Products supplied by New Zealand Ceiling & Drywall Supplies may be covered by manufacturer warranties provided by the relevant supplier or manufacturer. Where applicable, warranty claims may require inspection, assessment, repair, replacement, or approval by the manufacturer or their authorised service provider.

NZCDS does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer unless expressly stated.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where those rights apply.

Section 16 – Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NZCDS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NZCDS, Shopify, and our affiliates, employees, and service providers from any claims or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to remain in effect.

Section 19 – Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies referenced on the website, constitute the entire agreement between you and NZCDS regarding the Services.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent.

NZCDS may transfer or assign these Terms without notice.

Section 21 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
